Methuen Girls Softball League (MGSL) is a non-profit recreational softball league for girls, ages 7 to 14, who live or go to school in Methuen. Our mission is to provide a safe environment that teaches the girls the fundamentals of softball, teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership. Our coaches and board members are volunteers dedicated to promoting these principles on and off the field. We strive each year to create a league of competitive teams by holding pre-draft evaluation try-outs in March. This ensures each team will have matched skill levels, which will allow the girls to thrive and compete.(Date and Time for each division TBD) Through fundraising, sponsors, donations, and volunteers; we are able to provide the girls with a positive and memorable experience at a reasonable cost for families. MGSL also partners with Batter Up Sports Performance Center in Methuen, Ma. and their Ranger Softball teams. This partnership provides additional opportunities, facilities, and programs to girls who wish to further develop their softball and athletic skills.
